DEI Policy for an Inclusive Safe Environment

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to create an inclusive and safe work environment for all employees, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, age, or other protected characteristics.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees of Ms.Frenkel, L.L.C., including full-time, part-time, and contract employees.

Definition of Terms

  • Diversity: Refers to the variety of unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that employees bring to the workplace.

  • Equity: Refers to the fair and just treatment of all employees, regardless of their protected characteristics.

  • Inclusion: Refers to the creation of an environment where all employees feel welcome, valued, and respected.

Policy Statement

Ms.Frenkel, L.L.C. is committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive and safe work environment for all employees. Ms.Frenkel, L.L.C. believes that diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to its success.

Employees' Rights and Responsibilities

All employees have the right to:

  • Work in an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.

  • Be treated with respect and dignity.

  • Have their unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives valued.

All employees have the responsibility to:

  • Be respectful of their colleagues and refrain from discrimination and harassment.

  • Promote an inclusive and welcoming work environment.

  • Report any incidents of discrimination or harassment to their manager or another appropriate person.

Company's Responsibilities

Ms.Frenkel, L.L.C. is responsible for:

  • Creating and maintaining a workplace culture that is inclusive and safe for all employees.

  • Providing training and resources to employees on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Investigating and addressing all reports of discrimination and harassment in a prompt and fair manner.

Enforcement

This policy will be enforced by Ms.Frenkel, L.L.C. Any employee who violates this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Revisions

This policy may be revised at any time by Ms.Frenkel, L.L.C.. Employees will be notified of any revisions to this policy.

In addition to the above, Ms.Frenkel, L.L.C. may also implement the following specific measures to create an inclusive and safe environment:

  • Create employee resource groups (ERGs) for different identity groups.

  • Offer unconscious bias training to all employees.

  • Use inclusive language in all company communications.

  • Make sure that all company events and activities are accessible to all employees.

  • Have a clear and fair process for reporting and investigating complaints of discrimination and harassment.
